Privacy notice
1. Who we are
EziShare (ezishare.com) is operated by Interactive Enterprises Limited, a company registered in the Isle of Man (Company Number 137228C). Corporate site: int-ent.ltd.

We are the controller for personal data processed through EziShare unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
2. What this notice covers
This notice explains how we handle information when you use EziShare to create or join a screen-share room, or contact us.
3. Information we collect
- Display name - the name you type when creating or joining a room (shown only to people in that room).
- Room metadata - room code, join/leave times, peer role (host/viewer), and expiry/close status.
- Technical data - IP address (for rate limiting and abuse prevention), browser/user-agent in server logs, and session identifiers.
- Signalling data - short-lived WebRTC offer/answer/ICE messages needed to connect browsers. These are deleted quickly and are not a recording of your screen.
- Cookies - essential session/CSRF cookies so the room works. See our Cookie policy.
Screen and microphone media are peer-to-peer via WebRTC when the connection succeeds. We do not receive, store, or record your screen pixels or audio on our servers.
4. How we use information
- to operate EziShare rooms and connect participants;
- to secure the service and prevent abuse (rate limits, room expiry);
- to meet legal obligations where applicable.
5. Legal bases
We rely on: performance of a contract / requested service (running your room), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, product reliability), and legal obligation where applicable under Isle of Man / UK GDPR-aligned law.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with:
- hosting and infrastructure providers that run the site;
- professional advisers or authorities where required by law.
People you invite into a room can see your display name and (if you are sharing) your screen/audio via their browser.
7. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the Isle of Man / UK / EEA. Where that happens we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.
8. Retention
Rooms are designed to be ephemeral: they auto-expire (about 2 hours) or close when the host ends/leaves. Signalling messages and idle peers are cleaned up within minutes. Server/access logs may be retained for a short operational window for security unless needed for an investigation.
9. Your rights
Subject to Isle of Man data protection law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, or object to some processing. Contact engagement@int-ent.ltd. You may also complain to the Isle of Man Information Commissioner.
10. Children
EziShare is aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes
We may update this notice. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you have seen the revised notice.
